Bangarang Riddim (2005) – Charm

Charm’s 2005 Bangarang Riddim has that lean, early-2000s reggae feel where the groove does most of the talking, leaving plenty of room for the voices to sit right on top of it. Antoni Q’s “Everything Is Alright” is the sharper cut here, carrying a laid-back confidence that suits the riddim’s rolling pulse, while Don Ricardo’s “On The Menu” leans a little more into the playful side of the pattern. It’s a small set, just three tracks including the version, but that compactness gives the release a tidy, almost throwback feel — one of those little Charm productions that lands without making a fuss.
