Cronic Production’s Bambino Riddim landed in 1998 as a dancehall juggling anchored by just two cuts, General Levy’s The Bambino and Top Cat’s The Bambino. The riddim is tied to General Levy and Trevor Fagan on the production side, with Cronic carrying the label credit, and it kept the release compact and focused rather than crowding in a long roster. General Levy was already an established UK deejay by then, and Top Cat’s appearance gives the set another strong voice in a tight, fast-moving late-90s dancehall style.
