Produced by Propa Way Production, Astronaut Riddim arrived in 2023 as a tight four-track soca set with Lednek’s Joker Jab (Different), Chumx and Afro Davii’s Ole Thief, and Mello’s Problems alongside the instrumental. The release keeps Mello in the lineup, which fits Propa Way’s run of modern Caribbean riddims from that period, and the titles lean into playful, streetwise themes rather than big carnival sweetness. At just around 10 minutes, it moves quickly and gives the riddim a compact, punchy profile that makes it easy to place within Propa Way Production’s 2023 output.
