Jada Ashanti Murphy was born on 5 September 1998 in St Andrew, Jamaica. She attended St Benedict Primary School in Harbour View and Vauxhall High where she completed at the age of 16. She became popular when she came to the limelight as a swimwear model and later merged into music where she joined forces with Julian Jones-Griffith in her first official single titled “Love Situations”. This was after she had starred in Sean Kingston’s 2016 single “One Away”. Her follow up single was titled “Unwanted”. Throughout 2018, Murphy released singles including “Wull On”, “Best You Ever Had (B.Y.E.H)”, “Banana” and later on “Medicine” and “One Time”. Murphy owns a swimwear brand ‘Jadur Kastel’ and she was also featured on Risque Photos My Life Series IG Spotlight in May 2017.
