Tall King Productionz keeps Anti-Crime Riddim in a tense, militant pocket: a stripped-back dancehall cut with a stern bassline and enough open space for the voices to cut through clean. Agent Sasco’s “Go Easy, ” Bounty Killer’s “What Else, ” and Kabaka Pyramid’s “Global Warning” give it the sharpest edges, while Iba Mahr and iCandy lean into the warning-shot mood with more reflective turns. The 2013 set also folds in Bawse Dawg and Esco Da Shocker, so it moves between hard-hitting talk and conscious pressure without losing its street focus. Coming out in a year when dancehall was still very much split between raw badness and social commentary, the riddim sits right in that lane, with Bounty’s cut and Kabaka’s title track giving it the clearest anti-crime message.
