The project keeps its focus on raw street talk and blunt attitude, moving from Dasinga’s “Plis Baba” and Doptic’s “Gun Dem” to Jicike’s “Pussy Clean” and Mik’La Seen’s “Dem Know, ” while the rhythm itself carries the kind of clipped, percussive momentum that suits French Caribbean dancehall just as much as straight yard-style chat.
