A2O Riddim – Diet Monkey Entertainment

A2O Riddim arrived in 2022 from Diet Monkey Entertainment with a lean dancehall lineup that keeps the focus on the songs rather than any extra frills. The project runs 12 cuts deep and features 7 artists, including Gyal Ediot, Izrel Di Cotton Pikka, Jstvrr, Ras Ajai, Skystar, and Snipa Wizdom, with clean and raw versions of several tracks alongside the instrumental. Hybrid and Hawd Hayz from Izrel Di Cotton Pikka, plus We Scorching by Jstvrr and Visa from Ras Ajai, help set the tone. Diet Monkey, the Afro-dancehall producer behind the release, is a Toronto-based creative with a background in entertainment business, and that sharp, club-minded approach comes through in the riddim’s direct, no-nonsense structure.
