16 Bars Riddim ll – Wetty Beatz Records

Wetty Beatz is back on the road with a second pass at 16 Bars, this one lining up five new soca cuts around the same tight, club-ready frame that made the original 2024 project a Vincy Mas soundboard. The lineup keeps the energy pointed and direct: Zito Soca’s “Dirty Case” opens with that streetwise snap, Aquel J comes through on “No Conduct, ” and Quimix, Di Hooligan, and Ras Jomo each push the riddim into rougher, more restless territory. Wetty Beatz, aka Phillip Bastien from Union Island in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, has been busy across the region since the first 16 Bars drop, and this sequel feels like another sharpened entry in that run. If there’s a tune to lock onto, it’s Di Hooligan’s “Think Nah, ” which leaves the final impression hanging on attitude and pressure.
