Every now and again you will hear a particular song once, acquire a keen interest in it enough to get the name then store it in the memory vault it. A few days later you will hear another song which evokes a certain memory which then inspires you to enquire about the riddim and delve into the other tracks. Which brings me to my point. Double Clutch Riddim.
Produced by Troyton Music, Double Clutch Riddim sounds just like the motion in a high-speed chase. The naming of the riddim is very subjective and depends on various aspects but in the case instant its spot on in a musical sense. The upbeat rhythm makes for a banging party jam and has Jamaica’s top dancehall deejays strutting their stuff. Busy Signal features with Dirt with more of dancehall’s royalty like Sean Paul and Bounty Killer leaving their mark.

Crooner Chris Martin also features with Country Man with Tia upping the temperature with Fahrenheit as the token female deejay. In the summer mood, Troyton Music has released a real club banger which should be a fire starter once clubs are open.
In addition, Jamiel just released the official video for Lava. Not being too critical, but he delivers your standard dancehall vid with all the elements. If you’re gonna be put in the party mood this summer, I recommend having a listen or two. It’s a boss riddim, ridden by bosses and it’s your prerogative as to who rules the roost when it comes to those kinds of sentiments.
