Warm Kingston scores 3 stars. The riddim has a big cast but there are not enough stand out tracks to get it to a level 4 rating. The riddim has a catchy soca feel that has a lot of additional instruments that give it an upbeat rhythm. General Degree even has two cracks at it with ‘Ready Now’ and ‘Feeling Irie’ with the latter making one of my top picks.Tarrus Riley and General Degree team up well in the feel good song ‘Feeling Irie’. The title of the song describes the mood of the song and as Tarrus says ‘bad vibes are not allowed‘. His vocals and General Degree’s flow make for a good synergy and ultimately a catchy cut. When talking about blending different kinds of vocals you cannot overlook TOK. They represent in ‘Yuh Turn Me On.’ There is a balance to the different vocals from the 4 artists and once again they come up with a trademark group song.Sophie Squire describes the perfect holiday experience in ‘Island Love.’ I would gladly join her for some of this island love. Another feel good song with paradise like descriptions keep you entertained. If you need a song to get you psyched up for the weekend with your girl, look no further than ‘Weekend Love’. Chris Martin the crooner delivers another catchy tune. His vocals and beat make the perfect match and gains the top spot on the riddim.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY8z0Pr_pcY&list=RDAY8z0Pr_pcY&start_radio=1#tafmada[/embed] #iamjustsaying
