Queen of Dancehall Spice announced to the world on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta that her doctor has discovered a second hernia. The announcement came on season 11 episode 7 of the reality show and had Spice breaking down and sharing how scared she was at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. The dancehall artist endured a harrowing lifesaving surgery in 2022 for the initial hernia so you can imagine what is running through her mind.
“The doctor just told me they couldn’t remove the stent because I have another hernia. Knowing what I went through with my first hernia to now find out that I have another hernia, it’s hard to process knowing I could die any minute,” said an emotional Spice.
You can’t help but feel for Spice during this traumatic time in her life. After having such a good run musically this year this comes as a huge setback for her and her fans. With the release of her album titled God A Bless Me it is such a bummer. Just when you think the hard times are done. Life throws you a curve ball.
“I have no idea how I’m gonna handle a new procedure to do a new surgery for another hernia again, the procedure to remove my gall bladder…knowing I have to remove the stent- so many complications so many things that’s happening in my life, I’m just praying to God because I really can’t manage no more,” Spice said.
