Demarco’s autotune sound continues to work for him in his latest collaboration with rising star Jahshii in their latest track titled We Did It. Demarco continues to put his hand up as a sound dancehall artist despite having seasons when he is relatively quiet. Released via Symphonic, the track sees Demarco and Jahshii partnering with producer Ajal, who produced Demarco’s single Charge Fi Yuh and Jahshii’s Protection featuring Frassman Brilliant.
As the title suggests We Did It is about the artists’ come-up and how they have managed to self-actualise into established musicians. Jahshii has sung about Dreams To Reality and this is just another illustration of the come-up story of the Kingston-born native. Born Mluleki Tafari Clarke, Jahshii has only been in the game since 2021.
