Due to the quantity of music being constantly generated, it is easy to miss out on good tracks. With that in mind, we will delve into some of the newer dancehall tracks to look out for.
Squash is back on the scene with another track called Process. The track comes from The Polo Store Entertainment and Sixreal Records. The Law Boss has had a relatively quiet year probably due to all his legal wranglings. However, he has had success with tracks like Hurt Me and Mission and looks to have discovered his form once again in Process.
Sticking to bosses, Worl’Boss Vybz Kartel, is back with another club banger in Bicycle Pedal released by Zimi Records. Kartel needs no further introduction so I will leave you to listen to a dancehall lyrical genius as he has done it once more.
Onto another lyricist, Chronic Law followed on from Rules of Life with Thug Life. The track was released along with a music video. Produced by Spot On Records and Mek Cent$ Entertainment, the track has Chronic mellow out with a chilled track.
Another track to look out for is Dexta Daps’s Missing Piece. With bars to boot Dexta goes in on the track showing a grittier side.
And last but not least Busy Signal shined once more on Blackfro Riddim with High Up High Up. Busy goes about his business diligently alternating between reggae and dancehall and never fails to deliver. Hear him once more on this powerful riddim which definitely requires your close attention as I have mentioned before.
