Jamaica’s first capital, Spanish Town has a rich reggae/dancehall history. It has produced artists like Dennis Walks, Lieutenant Stitchie, Papa San, Lady G, and Hitman Walle.
Today is for lighting a spotlight on a dancehall/reggae artist who has been in the game since the 1980s. Hailing from St Catherine, Spanish Town, Jamaica, is Hitman Walle who used to move around with the likes of Lady Saw, Lady G, and Beenie Man once upon a time. Hitman Walle got his break with his first big song Dance Reggae Cha Cha Cha with Mallory Williams which hit the Michigan charts. In Spanish Town, Hitman Walle is known as a great stage performer a skill he learned from working with the aforementioned artists.
