Skeng Drinks Champagne Out of Shoe

Skeng Drinks Champagne Out Of Shoe

It is easy to gauge someone’s age from subtle habits. Skengs’s maturity levels were made apparent in his recent publicity stunt which didn’t really have the impact he expected I presume. During his performance at Dream Wknd over the weekend, Skeng decided to rock up on stage holding an airforce one Nike tackie, bottle of Champagne, and mic in hand. He proceeded to pour the Champagne into the shoe and drank from it. Real mature right? In addition, he then spat out most of the Champagne as he realized the health risks involved in drinking from your shoe.

Unfortunately, the youth are in awe of Skeng and presumably look up to him in some way. To make things worse Skeng whose real name is Stephen Kairu is 30 years old. Which 30-year-old drinks Champagne out of his shoe?

Skeng Drinks Champagne Out Of Shoe

I don’t mean to be the voice of reason. However, you can do better Skeng. There should be a certain level of decorum required for performing artists and this certainly does not match. And I wonder what the point of it all is. “My name is Skeng and I do what I want. Even drink Champagne from my shoe”.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug but this is now immaturity. Skeng is an established UK Grime and dancehall artist with numerous hit songs including London, Protocol, Smooth Wid it and Gvman Session. There is an issue with the quality of songs coming from the dancehall fraternity in that there is no depth in the lyrics and stunts like this show you why.

With all that said, Skeng is still a popular artist who has his fanbase. I trust he will continue to grow as an individual and in his career and we look forward to more noteworthy music and less foolish stunts like drinking out of your shoe.
