After recently writing about Jada Kingdom’s current dominance due to a string of dope tracks. Sheenseea seems to have responded with a colourful video for her latest single Sure Sure. The track was produced by Rvssian’s Rich Immigrants and Interscope Records. Bearing in mind the impact of a good music video, Shenseea’s Sure Sure is set to be a fans favourite. The video features Shenseea in her different elements which include her doing grocery shopping and seducing men in different fantasized locations.
Tensions have loosened on the female dancehall front following Shenseea kissing and making up with long time arch-nemesis Jada Kingdom. The tracks post the beef all seem to be bangers so at least we can say the quality of the music has not been compromised. There is a stronger appeal for unity in the dancehall space now and let’s hope it continues. Bounty Killer and Beenie Man’s VERZUZ seemed to be the catalyst, however, it was not the reason for Jada and Shenseea making up.
With the usual sexual innuendos, Sheensea sings,
“Usually I’m indecisive
But tonight, mi sure sure
And babe, yuh know mi way past like it (Know mi like it, yeah)
Mi love ah likkle more moreâ€
Shenseea has a good 2020 with a string of memorable singles which include Sidechick Song and Wasabi. She has featured with the best of them having success with Swae Lee and Rvssian. Jada has been the in-form woman for the past couple of months with tracks like Win and One Time. But Sure Sure threatens to tip the scale in Shenseea’s favour. Jada Kingdom simultaneously dropped her latest single Budum, unfortunately, there is no video for us to check out eye-candy.
Be sure not to neglect women’s dancehall and Shenseea and Jada Kingdom should be one of your first points of reference.
