If you were to ask a Generation Z or Centennial to tell you what Maxi Priest was famous for, they would probably stare back at you with a blank look, and tell you he was a pastor or something.
The 58 year old reggae artist is back on the airwaves for all you Generation X and Y babies. He takes you back on a 90’s nostalgia music trip with his new track ‘I’m Alright’ with legendary Shaggy. As if he is just letting his fans know that he is alive and well, he shines with Shaggy in another reggae fusion track he was well known for throughout the nineties.
Shaggy[/embed] and Maxi at 51 and 58 respectively are still able to show the youth how it’s done. Age is clearly nothing but a number. As footy pundits say ‘form is temporary but class is permanent’.  Kudos to the pair and I am sure they will still be able to garner fans from the younger generation with this new jam.
