Jah Cure Appeals Attempted Manslaughter Conviction

jah cure appeals attempted manslaughter conviction

Convicted felon Siccature Alcock also known as Jah Cure is fighting for his freedom once more as the Prosecution in his stabbing case appealed the court’s attempted murder charge ruling. Jah Cure was convicted in March 2022 for attempted manslaughter after damning evidence of him expressing intent to kill a promoter for money owed. Cure has been in jail in the Netherlands since then and his appeal hearing date has been set for the 24th January 2023.

Cure recently apologized to his fans saying.

“My message to my fans is I apologize for this situation I got myself caught up in. I would like to give this album to you as a special gift from me to you. Until we see each other soon, I have some interesting songs to share with you.”

The album in question, Undeniable, is set for release in February 2023. The album will be released through VP Records and will feature the likes of Stonebwoy and Haitian artist Kaylan Arnold. Dubbed an album for lovers. Jah Cure expressed to fans that the album was about the undeniable lover in him.

That said, how genuine is Jah Cure? What else is he supposed to tell his fans? Wouldn’t it be more sincere if he sang about the felon in him? That could possibly sell more records, right? Bearing in mind he has already served 8 years for rape and robbery and is about to serve another 6 years for attempted manslaughter.  Who is Siccature Alcock really?

However, we cannot doubt the Jamaican’s musical ability. I am sure Undeniable will be a success as the crooner has garnered a solid fanbase and I am sure fans will focus more on the music as opposed to the man. Watch this space for more details about his appeal and look out for the album in February.
