Find Of The Week: Ginger Riddim

Find Of The Week: Ginger Riddim

In this installment of the find of the week, I will delve into Ginger Riddim. Produced by Silly Walk Discotheque from Germany, the reggae rhythm features four artists and was released on the 14th of July 2023. Ginger Riddim does not include your household reggae names but is still a proper representation of the genre.

Konshens features with his track Wicked Man. Not really known for his reggae exploits, Konshens steps away from his favored dancehall. He gives a solid account of himself dropping heavy poignant bars. Konshens sings about being weary of wicked men exclaiming that the world is mainly run by them and it’s for standing firm and being strong.

Newbie artist Tatik drops Purpose and the self-explanatory title gives an indication of the course of the song. With relatable bars, Tatik is definitely a hot prospect for the future and I look forward to many more conscious tracks from him.

Also[/embed] featuring on the riddim is another up-and-coming Jamaican reggae artist Yaksta. Fresh from releasing his maiden album titled 22, Yaksta is another hot prospect for the future. He drops Jet Black and gels well with the catchy tune. And last but not least Eesah is the final artist on the riddim with Life Nice. Maintaining the conscious vibes youngen Eesah also boasts an album (Timeless) to his name. Released in 2022, you can only appreciate and admire the youngster’s passion. It’s not an easy feat to produce a marketable album and we can only look forward to the future from all the aforementioned artists bar established Konshens.

Short and sweet. Give Ginger Riddim and chance and get to appreciate vibes from our rasta brethren made in Germany.
