Just when you thought Beenie Man was past his due date, he drops a 2023 summer banger. Titled Sail Out, the dancehall stalwart is able to roll back the years with a bevy of babes in a yacht for the music video.
With an upcoming album called SIMMA to be released, Beenie is showing that he can still keep up with the youth in addition to a host of performances lined up in the United States. Produced by Justus of JA Productions, the track should feature on SIMMA. Not sure if he has fully recovered, but, Beenie suffered a bike accident in November 2022 and has been battling to get back to 100% fitness. This has not deterred him as he had a successful performance at the Rebel Salute stage at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove on the 21st of January 2023. In addition, Beenie is set to debut at the Lovers and Friends Music Festival in Las Vegas in May. Where other stalwarts like Shaggy, Sean Paul, and Wayne Wonder are poised to perform.

It’s clearly business as usual for Beenie and we are loving it. A date is still to be set for SIMMA’s release and we will let you know when something is announced.
Meanwhile be sure to listen to Beenie Man’s other tracks recently released which include Henkel Glue with Shenseea, One More Time, on Cool Reminder Riddim, Cyaah Tame, and Blessings Pon Blessings.
Beenie[/embed] Man clearly still has it and I reckon is still in dancehall’s top 20 Hall of Fame along with the likes of Buju Banton and Shabba Ranks. Not sure if he marks the top ten, however, that is a discussion for another day. Three decades into his career is no small feat, so we salute you Beenie Man and may you keep at it for years to come.
