“wah Gwaan!”- Shaggy

Reggae and dancehall bulwark Shaggy is poised to release a new solo album six years after his last one. The album is titled  ‘Wah Gwaan’ and is set to be released on the 10th of May 2019. The new record will showcase Shaggy’s Jamaican roots, global reach, contagious joy and introspective side.

Shaggy went on to say, “This is the first album that is personal – a bit of my truth. With previous albums, I kept my private life private, and I felt it was time to address certain things. Also, there is a point where you can’t talk about woman and gal any more.”

Shaggy first mentioned the record in November 2018 with the release of , “Use Me”
