Vybz Kartel owns the number 1 trending video in Jamaica with Uptop Boss Teejay. The track Uptop Gaza took 9 hours 40 minutes to claim the spot following its release.
Subsequent to this, Vybz Kartel’s impatience showed as he was not satisfied with the ‘lengthy’ time period. In an arrogant social media post, the Worl’Boss insinuated that people had been buying the number 1 spot as they clearly didn’t deserve the spot. Vybz wrote,
“Somn wrong wid @vevo ? or a some guys a buy trending ?
Intence took offense to the post as he had the number 1 trending song at the time. His song Tears Dem Dry was eventually toppled hours later leaving him at number 2. In addition he also has the 3rd and 4th most trending videos for Right or Wrong and Dawg Dem. Considering this you have to give Intence his dues as one can argue he is the most trending artist in Jamaica. However I don’t want to ruffle Gazanation fans feathers.
Intence did respond to Kartel’s rant saying,

Without really attacking the Worl’Boss his response did get a reply from Mr Palmer, with the deejay stating that,
“Dancehall can’t stall because it’s not owned by anyone, but it will neva be inherited by the meek.â€
Total arrogance from the Worl’Boss but I guess that comes with the territory. Kartel also mentioned how he is running the show from a jail cell while his contemporaries compete as free men.
Shabdon Records nailed it once more though as both Teejay and Vybz do shine. A solid collaboration that will have fans talking about the track for some time. Big up Vybz and Teejay and we look forward to more collaborations in the near future.
