Before I get stuck into things clarity may be required as I will be referring to Giggs the British grime rapper hailing from South London. Most people may only know former Manchester United football legend Ryan Giggs, and as much as I am a fan of his. He has not, nor will he ever dabble on the grime scene.
Mobay’s very own Teejay collaborated with the aforementioned British artist Giggs on this tune defined by the artist’s lyrical abilities. Produced by Jazzy T, Dog Mout shows off the artist’s rapping pedigree and we get to see a fusion of different cultures as they take you from Montego Bay to Peckham, London.
With a long history in the game, Giggs is no stranger to the dancehall space having previously collaborated with Popcaan in 2017 in Times Tickin. Teejay on the other hand is still on the rise in Jamaica and can’t seem to go wrong. With numerous tracks this year which include New Years, Different Species, and Mercy, Teejay has proved himself an accomplished dancehall artist and I look forward to more tracks from him. Having moved record labels from Romeich Entertainment to Solid Agency, Teejay has a clear plan and it is all coming together for the rising star.
