Former Dancehall Queen Lady Saw is looking to build a church and has started a Gofundme for US$2.7 million to raise capital to secure the property. Having fully transitioned from the ratcheness of dancehall, Lady Saw goes by Minister Marion Hall now and is looking to secure her spot in heaven by building a church.
Despite her critics, Minister Hall continues on her Christian path having started off singing gospel to now being an ordained Minister. Currently, Minister Hall conducts her mass at her home residence and streams her sermons online for her growing church. Called the Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ, Minister Hall revealed the church required US$2.7 to acquire the land on which they intend on building.
On Instagram, she wrote, “We have found a property to build the home of Holy Ghost Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Can you please help us by donating to the purchasing and building of the Lord house. Thank you. May the Lord bless you in all things.”
In addition, the project, she added, “will also [be] the home of Marion Hall cooking ministry where we will feed the less fortunate once a week.”
You have to admire Mrs. Halls’s ambitions. However, we all hope her intentions are pure and she is not just looking for an extra buck. Churches have become an avenue to get rich and you can only hope this is not just another scheme. To be fair, it is all about the message, and if she is able to give her congregation proper life tools who am I to judge her intentions and credentials?
