Get Into The Swing Of Things With Swing Riddim

get into the swing of things with swing riddim

The latest thing to come out from H2O Records is Swing Riddim. The riddim has Agent Sasco, Bugle and Delly Ranks. The pleasant riddim ticks the reggae checklist and as the title suggests is an easy listen.

Agent Sasco kicks things off with ‘Work Day’. The artist formerly known as Assassin describes the week for ordinary working class citizens. It’s one of those common feelings, as people battle through from Monday to Thursday and cannot wait for Friday and the weekend. It does feel like you’re on a swing with the constant back and forth that we all have to get used to, with its highs and lows. Agent Sasco’s flow continues to evolve from the days of ‘Something Gotta Give’ on City Life Riddim in 2010.

Agent Sasco will finish the year off performing at Popcaan‘s Unruly Festival.

The next artist on the riddim is Bugle with ‘Helping Hand’. The reserved artist delivers a relaxed song preaching a good message as the song title suggests. The Portland born artist released a studio album Picture Perfect earlier this year. The album was not able to make huge headlines but that really isn’t his style. Bugle appeals to his niche market which works for him and his fans and is appreciated in the reggae fraternity. He makes the riddim work for him and gives a solid account for himself.

Last but not least, veteran reggae artist Delly Ranks is the final piece in the Swing Riddim puzzle. ‘Straight Vibes’ adds a bit of energy to the riddim with the up and down tune of a nursery rhyme. The track concludes what is a pleasant riddim.

Sit back on a Sunday after those silly season moments and give it a listen. As we enter the festive season it’s always good to have those relaxed moments and this riddim is perfect for that.
