Chris Brown Set To Rock In Kingston

Dancehall artists Ding Dong and Teejay will be joining R&B artist Chris Brown on the Jamaican leg of the ‘Under The Influence’ concert tour set for August 27 at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

In addition, Jamaican/American pop artist Sean Kingston will also be joining in on the fun in the line-up for the much-talked-about show.

“We listened to the consumers…after speaking with different promoters and consumers and concert donors, and they said that the person they wanna see most is Chris Brown, we reached out to Chris Brown and Chris Brown was very excited to be a part of the event and that’s how we got here,” said founder and CEO of the VEW, Empire Ryan Burke.

The show has brought in a lot of controversy as ticket prices have left some fans in awe. Tickets are up for sale on the 18th of July 2023 ranging around US$45.00 for bleachers tickets. However, its the VIP Sky Vew suites which have baffled fans as they are being tipped to be in excess of US$15,000.00

“Where is the Sky Vew suite. Heaven?” Asked a certain fan. US$15k is a hell of a lot of money and most Jamaicans and sane people like myself wonder if the price is justifiable. The tickets will probably come with complimentary food and drink I presume. Chris Brow is a top entertainer so maybe the prices are justifiable. How much is Breezy supposed to get paid for the show anyway?

Skillibeng had been initially penciled in to perform on the European leg of the tour so he may be a surprise package in Jamaica. The Kingston stadium is set to rock come August 27, 2023, and I am sure it will be a spectacle. You can never go wrong with Chris Brown and with the dancehall stars also headlining this is set to be epic.
