Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Skeng grew up in a musical family and was exposed to reggae and dancehall music from a young age.
Skeng began his music career in his teenage years, performing at local talent shows and parties. He soon gained a reputation as a skilled lyricist and performer, and began working with producers to record his music.
In 2015, Skeng released his debut single “Duppy Show,” which quickly became a hit in Jamaica and earned him a following in the dancehall community.
