Xxxtentacion And Vybz Kartel Collaborate

When you see a Caucasian woman in the United States making a reaction video on Youtube on a Vybz Kartel song it just goes to show how big the Worl’Boss’s brand has become. Hundreds of Americans are only catching on to Vybz now after his feature on XXXTentacion’s track ‘Royalty’ alongside Stefflon Don and Kymani Marley. As promised by the deceased artist’s mom a few months back, the track with Vybz Kartel was released a few weeks back and is getting a lot of traction in the US.

On 18 June 2018, American rapper XXXTentacion was shot and killed in a robbery in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy known as XXXTentacion, was followed by Michael Boatwright and Dedrick Williams while shopping for motorcycles with his uncle in a RIVA Motorsports store. Shortly after leaving the dealership his car was ambushed and attacked by the aforementioned who eventually shot him multiple times.

Following his death, his mother hinted that he had been working with Vybz on a track. True to her word the track was released.

Kymani Marley is not known to be prolific in churning out music. He makes it count in this track providing a memorable hook. Vybz shows his versatility over the hip hop beat taking control of the song in his verse. Stefflon Don doesn’t put a foot wrong in what is a good song.

The Vybz Kartel appeal continues to develop. Despite being incarcerated, he is still turning heads. You can ban him from physically entering your country but you cannot control the effect of his music. In a world where the deejay is not incarcerated, is it really necessary to ban him from your country? I guess it is probably not the simple.

Look out for ‘Royalty’ and we look forward to the music video.
