Onto more bad news. Dancehall deejay, Praj-X whose government name is Peter Porter was found dead in Spanish Town on Wednesday the 22nd of January 2020. He had been missing for two days when his body was found by the police.
According to reports from Praj-X’s manager Andrew Powell. The 37 year old entertainer basically left his home to go sell a car and never returned. There were no stab or gunshot wounds and signs show that he was beaten to death.
“Praj X was last at the Three Miles Scotia Bank. Let’s pray and send some condolences to the artiste’s family and close relatives and hope justice will be done for this gruesome crime. The last thing he told me last year was that he wanted to settle down and have his family,” Powell added.
Praj-X, from Ballards River in Clarendon was regarded as an up and coming rising talent. His most notable work ‘Plantain‘ was the reply to Jada Kingdom’s Banana.
I hope this unfortunate incident serves as a warning to people when doing transactions with strangers. I am guessing the vehicle in question is nowhere to be seen. With no stab or bullet wounds this must have been a long painful ordeal for the deejay. Condolences to his family and friends and reiterating what his manager said I hope justice will be served.
To anyone else who wishes to sell or buy a car I implore you to be extra cautious. And try do the transaction at a common public place.
Following the recent death of Kobe Bryant and Roxy aka Bumpa in the past 7 days, I appeal to everyone to appreciate life and how short it can be. Cherish your loved ones and do not take them for granted because anything can happen at anytime. RIP Peter Porter.
