Riddims World Hot Picks Oct 16

Kranium In Charge

As the year comes to an end the main players in the dancehall fraternity are taking centre stage and releasing music. We take a look at the current main hits doing the rounds as the artists look to end the year on a high.

To make things easier and streamlined we will take a look at the top five up and coming tracks released in the past 7 days worth your time.

Alkaline is my first pick. Following the turn of the half year Alkaline has been on a rampage. Following his well documented beef with 6IX Boss Squash and Chronic Law, the Vendetta Boss is making the headlines with ‘Nuh Average’. His track talks about his above average lifestyle as he continually emphasizes his superiority.

Popcaan features on Money Heist Riddim with the title track on the riddim. Again, as if there is nothing else to talk about he talks about his riches and lifestyle.

After such a good year Busy Signal continues to shine with his latest track on Power House Riddim. The riddim has caught the ear of most and Busy stands out as one of the main players on the riddim with ‘Pree Man Suh’, featuring Nadg.

This would not be much of a track watch if it did not feature Vybz Kartel. The Worl’Boss maintains his dominance with his latest collaboration with Lisa Hyper. The pair feature on Power House Riddim which seems to be the it riddim at the moment. The riddim also features other top ranking artists including Chris Martin, Teejay, Demarco, I-Watta and Beenie Man.

Representing the 6IX is Squash with ‘Intel’. Its refreshing hearing something other than a diss track for Squash. He showcases his lyrical ability in his latest jam flying the 6IX flag.

In closing Kanium delivers a track which is right up his alley. ‘Inside You’ with 285k views on Youtube in 5 days is the last pick of tracks to look out for. The sultry track is trademark Kranium and is a definite must listen for dancehall fans.

It’s hard to keep up with these tracks. However, as you look for festive season tracks some of these picks will probably do well on your playlist.
