Vybz Kartel continues to make the headlines. However, this time it’s not about the music but about his incarceration. According to local news, the incarcerated artist is currently being punished for being suspected of using a cell phone and as has been put in 23hr isolation. Two cell phones were found on his cell block about a week ago and measures have been taken to isolate the deejay.
Objective individuals will read between the lines here and can accept the recording artist was the culprit for this form of insubordination. However, questions can be asked about the severity of the punishment being dished out.
Medical reports have now surfaced that Vybz has been battling with Graves disease for the past seven years and has been getting treatment. In addition, the artist has two serious heart conditions that will require life-saving surgeries. So, bearing this in mind, with the poor ventilation in solitary confinement, Vybz Kartel’s health is at risk.
