Popcaan teamed up with Quada once more in his latest street anthem he calls ‘Billion Pree (K.I.N.G.)’. Sticking to the same ‘billion’ premise as they did in their last collaboration. This track is a sure banger for the Unruly camp fans.
The Unruly Boss is looking to end the year on a high note after his last track with England’s ‘Top Boy’, Kano. The pair collaborated well on his new album Hoodies All Summer in ‘Cant Hold We Down‘. The track followed an original event where Kano invited Popcaan and his mates to his household for a home cooked meal. Kano was returning the gesture where Popcaan had invited him to his home making him a home cooked meal back in Jamaica. The collaboration made for a cool track and video and is set to get traction from the Jamaican community in England along with the Jamaican faithfull back home.
Popcaan has had another top year and has most importantly grown his brand all over the world. More so in the United States and more recently in Great Britain. If the trend continues he may be able to topple Vybz Kartel from his perch as the King of Dancehall.
The year is poised to end on a high note with the much anticipated Unruly Festival. The organisers have a tough task ahead of them in trying to upstage last years concert. However, this year is poised to be another cracker. So far the headline artists set to perform are Drake and Agent Sasko. Set for 21st of December, Popcaan may still have a few more tracks rolled up his sleeve.
