For the past few weeks, the only Jada on peoples’ minds has been Jada Pinket-Smith following the revelation of her entanglement with August Alsina. As a reminder to dancehall fans, Jada Kingdom has played her part as a handy distraction for Jadas by constantly making good music. Seems like after burying the hatchet with Shenseea the dancehall songstress has kicked on and is on a roll.
Jada Kingdom has just released her latest work WiN which has proven to be a motivational song for her fans. The easy-going tune was produced by Twinkle Media/Mathsofmind Production. It serves as a tonic from her other sultry sexy tunes which include her collaboration with WorlBoss Vybz Kartel.
“The essence of Dancehall, of Jamaican music, is articulating the struggle, reacting to situations, to what goes on around us and to us. To inspire us all, no matter the struggle, to WiN.†Said Jada. The track is all about having faith and resonates with most during this unique period in history. Jada sings,
“Pray every time me fail caz God always ah listen, one day I have to win, that’s why mi try again.â€
Jada Kingdom’s other recent singles include a remix to Skilibeng’s Shake. And another feature with Aluna and Princess Nokia on Get Paid.
Jada seems to be the in-form female artist alongside Koffee and the Windies can’t get enough of her. She recently made the headlines about one of her exes where she had to describe their entanglement. Her ex-friend/ex nemesis Shenseea has been on the low lately which has given her the opportunity to shine. The genre niche has a lot of potential to grow and Jada is a stalwart to work with.
Be sure to check out her latest work which just reminds us that she is not just a pretty face.
