Single of the Riddim: (1) Moyann- On My Mind
(2) Mavado – Fresh Paint
(3) Kranium – So Me Love

Moyann’s On My Mind managed to upstage Mavado on the title track of the riddim. Moyann’s rendition about her love interest keeps your interest for the duration of the song and it illustrates the range in her singing.

Mavado’s voice has a way of getting ones attention and on this riddim he stands out again and manages a second place finish. Taking nothing away from Mavado but the song needs a another level much like the other songs on the riddim. Kranium also has the same gift in terms of turning an average song into a good one due to his catchy voice.

The riddim is very chilled and has only managed 3 stars. The other songs worth mentioning are Jahmiel’s Same Stories, Shenseea’s Temptation Overdrive and Teejays’s After 4.

There will be more riddims to come in 2019 and this one can be used as a marker for an alright standard. It will surely keep you going be-it if you’re enjoying your Sunday chill or are working on something. A definite must listen for modern dancehall fans.
