Reggae’s new shining light Chronixx features alongside Free Nationals in a soulful reggae tune titled Eternal light.
“No bad vibes can’t stop this good vibration yeah
That’s the positive vibes that we keep creating yeah
Sounds that make you feel right
We keep it blazin yeah
As long as we living this life
We keep it blazin yeah (blazin yeah)
As long as we living this life yeah”
It’s always good vibes with Chronixx and the track is testament to that. He features alongside Free Nationals.
Free Nationals are best known as the live band backing Anderson .Paak. The group comprises Kelsey Gonzalez on bass, Ron ‘Tnava’ Avant on the keyboard and vocoder, Callum Connor on drums and Jose Rios with the guitar.
The group is set to release their own album in the near future but a release date has not been set yet.
“It was a pleasure to work with Chronixx on ‘Eternal Light’,” said the band’s drummer Callum Connor. “The melody ideas he comes up with are unlike anyone else. They are totally different from the usual R&B pop writers we work with.”
Without the influence of Anderson .Paak we look forward to the sound the band can bring. Time will tell on their album and its success.
Chronixx recently had success with his old jam ‘I Can‘ released off his debut Grammy nominated album Chronology. The track is the preferred score for British fragrance and lifestyle house Jo Malone London’s latest advertising campaign. The short film ad features British-Nigerian actor John Boyega, who is also the brands first male ambassador.
Onwards and upwards Chronixx. We now just need another Chronology-esque album. It’s been over two years now. Despite the numerous collaborations with artists like Protoge and Koffee a fresh album is due. How much longer will the world have to wait?
