To most the COVID-19 lockdown has served as a reset button from all that was going on in the world. People seem to now appreciate freedom and going out a whole lot more and I can only imagine the parties that will ensue once things go back to normal. Just imagine all the party jams that have been released that are yet to be played in clubs and parties. On this list, Ding Dong Ravers’ latest track Mirror Mirror is set to feature.
The new dance track showcases a new dance which is not really new but will have dancehall lovers trying out the “new” moves once they get an opportunity. The reason I specify that the dance is not original is because some fans have pointed out that it is similar to moves we have seen from Tommy Lee Sparta. To be fair Tommy Lee should get some special mention as there are huge similarities.
In addition, had Ding Dong registered the track on Tic Tok who knows how big the track would have been. Because, honestly speaking, Drakes dance moves in Toosie Slide don’t hold a candle in the wind compared to Ding Dong’s moves. But that’s just me.
Regardless, Ding Dong has once again hit the nail on the head with another club banger for life post lockdown. The track is based on the Snow White theme where the evil queen questions herself in the mirror.
“Mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror, mirror on the wall/who’s the mother flipping illest, freshest of them all?” Sings Ding Dong as he prepares for a night on the town.
It’s just a matter of time now until we are able to hit these streets. But before that let’s still exercise caution and stick to lockdown rules. All good things come to those who wait patiently but you may as well start practising your dance moves at home.
