100 Busy

Busy Signal and Afro B teamed up once more in his latest music video ‘100%’. The video is set in New York and was directed by Dameon Gayle.

100% comes off Busy’s recently released ‘Parts of The Puzzle’ album. The album cemented itself on the Billboard Reggae Chart, debuting at number 2 and peaked at 1 on the iTunes reggae chart.

The track has the pair collaborating together after mixed success with ‘Expensive Order‘ and ‘Go Dance‘ earlier on in the year. The pair looked in high spirits in the music video as they had their moments in New York. Busy had this to say about working with Afro B,

“It was great to link up with my brother Afro B on the song. And we made this one for the people. From US to Jamaica to Africa, it’s all love, it’s 100% Real.” The Turf Boss went on saying, “The video is mad, crazy, crazy vibes. We shot it in New York City, from Times Square to Brooklyn, to Queens, it’s just a whole bunch of energy. 100% Real, it’s a whole lot of fiery energy.”

Unlike the poor acting showcased by Popcaan and Davido in their recent collaboration ‘Risky‘. Busy employs the same actors used in ‘Stay So’ and ‘One Way’ in the video who do a stellar job. The video tells the tale of a street hustler with a comic undertone which makes for a hilarious bit. The vendor sells a fake watch to the wrong customer and he is chased all over town.

Signature Busy shines once more and this video will go a long way in boosting sales for his recently released album. The album also features hits including Stay So, Dolla Van, Got To Tell You and Girl Like You. The Turf Boss is a definite contender for dancehall artist of the year. Lets see how well the album sells.
