Don Yute

Jason Andrew Williams was born on 9 May 1974 in Port Antonio, Portland. He is known for his collaboration with Wayne Wonder in 1995 in “Sensi Ride”. Williams went on to record “African Thing” with Prezident Brown  which was released on Island/Mango. He went on to work with a number of producers including Steely & Clevie on “Hard Core”, Bobby Digital on “Funny Funny” and Donovan Germain on “All That Glitters”. Williams maintained a high profile with hits such as “You Own Di Man”, “Gal It Wouldn’t Easy”, “Golden Child”, “La La La” and “Livin’ In A Dream”. In 1997 he released his debut album and that same year he appeared on Sting 97 where he performed alongside Sean Paul. Paul considers Williams as his mentor. In 2005, Williams signed a deal with Capitol Records.
