Alicia Keys partnered up with Protogé and Chronixx for the remix to Underdog. If you had any doubts about this collaboration they will be snuffed out 20 seconds into the track. The unlikely trio came together beautifully, landing a powerful message of overcoming. It’s really hard to pinpoint what exact genre to pigeonhole the track but the modern dancehall/rnb fusion is a winner for both genres.
Grammy award winner Alicia went on to say,

The track was produced by P2J and Izy Beats and is set to appear on Alicia’s upcoming seventh album, ALICIA. Nothing has been said about a music video. However, based on the fact that the audio has 220k Youtube views in just a week a video might not be such a bad idea.
Two of Jamaica’s shining stars Chronixx and Protogé gave a solid account of themselves in the feel good tropical song and we can look forward to a studio album from Chronixx later on in the year.
As far as collaborations this year this track stands out and could possibly be the pick of the tracks. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus these inter-genre collaborations may not flow at the same rate due to travel restrictions. Coupled with the inability to tour.
