Honestly speaking from general observation when you hear of a music artist named ‘Lil’ something, you would automatically think of an African American or black artist related to rap/hip hop. So it came as a shock when I came across Lil Hanky Panky hailing from Germany. Now based in Kingston, Jamaica, German-born Russian Lilie Gorchkov has embarked on a music and dance career that seems to be making waves on the world stage.
“Music and dance were always parallel, and both are passions of mine. I did dance classes as a child, was always on shows as well as video productions which, over the years, advanced into me teaching and I have for long, desired to open a studio of my own.” She explained to The Gleaner
With a passion for music and dancehall, Lilie found herself on Jamaica shores in 2018 and has made it her home. She started off dancing in music videos for Sean Paul and Beenie Man and has started recording music. Managed by Marlon Hutchinson of After 13 Music, Lilie has dropped a few notable tracks collaborating with the likes of Chi Ching Ching, Bounty Killer, and Sizzla. Currently trending now is her latest single titled Active, which best describes this high-energy individual determined to succeed in the music business. With aspirations of working with the premier artists like Shenseea and Spice, Lilie is slowly turning heads, and being a Caucasian female artist from Hannover makes her more appealing.

With a striking butterfly tattoo on her buttocks, Lil Hanky Panky can definitely turn heads and her talents are not limited to dancehall and dancing as she is deemed a fusion artist for genres like trap, hip hop, and Afro-beats.
“I fuse hip hop, Afrobeats, dancehall, trap, pop…and still make it my own, I have really been focusing on my craft and my songs are gaining more and more traction on the radio and in the dances.”
