4 CAWNA GENERAL – AL’QUAL

al-qual

There are many men who wake up and see themselves as a young general or a young “Don”. Well this young 23 year old from the heart of Kingston & St. Andrew is just that. He has managed to carve out a name and a lane for himself. His name is “Al’Qual”. He might not be your household name but he is certainly on his way to running the underground circuit. He is well know among the urban side walk hit makers. He has been beating (lyrically) via lyrical battles that have been taking place all over the streets of Kingston. He has challenged every MC and Deejay that has come along on his route to greatness. Now seen in the streets as the one to look forward to a young Amanual (aka Al’Qual) is setting his sights on albums, career and domination. In his eyes he has a responsibility as a Young Don to do so. Show the other youths how to keep their visions intact.

His new and latest project out is his new mixtape  “97” which was produced by Push A Yute Ent Inc and mixed by Zen Studios. The mixtape is dear to his heart and a project he focused on with his beat maker 1 Hamez & Push A Yute. He wanted to just  he zoned in trying to tell his stories of Kingston life and what comes with it. HIs story telling style and witty lyrics clearly separates him from the average DJ. “97” which has a “DJ Ants Man” edition was released by VPAL and is on their AudioMac is a very good indication that this artist is content driven and has made up his mind to be viewed via his work. 1 Hamez Productions has also released one of his latest singles titled “SUBZERO” which seems to be radio favorite played several times on Zip FM and also on many mixtapes in and around the corporate area.

“AL’QUAL” correct name is Amanual Eccleston and its hard to tell that a young man that has just started his musical career is racking up the numbers. He is considered a Young Don in Kingston and continues to show why. He is signed to the Push A Yute camp and outfit. With their expertise and experience this 23 year old seems to be on the rise. With singles like “Mercy Me” on its way and new visuals that stem from his debut mixtape we can only wish the young don all the best.
